Swisslog to Discuss E-Commerce and Retail Store Fulfillment Strategies at ProMat 2023

ProMat 2023 (March 20-23) at McCormick Place in Chicago

Newport News, VA – Swisslog, leading provider of best-in-class warehouse automation and software, has announced that its automation experts are sharing their robotics and automation expertise and experience in on-floor seminars at ProMat 2023 (March 20-23) at McCormick Place in Chicago. The company is also exhibiting at the show (Booth #S3823).

During the seminar “The Next Big Thing in Retail: Store-Ready Fulfillment,” Swisslog’s James Sharples, VP of Global Business Acceleration, shares how smart store replenishment solutions can provide store-ready fulfillment of orders, simplifying shelf restocking. Attendees will learn how they can rethink the supply chain approach, gaining labor independence and reducing operations cost, while also decreasing the complexity of operations.

Colman Roche, Vice President of E-Commerce and Retail, will help small to mid-sized e-commerce companies determine if the automation journey is right for them and what their first step should be. His seminar “Is My E-Commerce Business Big Enough for Warehouse Automation,” will explain how to assess whether it is the right time to automate and which automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) have the flexibility to be installed or adapted as demand changes and companies grow.

“Many companies may believe that their business is not big enough to utilize automated fulfillment and that available solutions are too expensive for their budget. This is no longer always the case,” said Roche. “Today’s flexible and scalable warehouse automation technologies offer viable options for many fast-growing small to mid-sized e-commerce companies within various capex availabilities.”

Show attendees can also visit the Swisslog booth (#S3823) to speak with automation experts and learn more about its fully automated robotic solutions. The company will be showcasing its ACPaQ automated mixed case palletizer that helps companies efficiently create customized mixed pallets for individual stores from single-SKU pallets. This scalable, robotic and data-driven palletizing solution can deliver increased throughput up to 1,000 units per hour – two to three times more than traditional solutions.

The booth will also feature the CarryPick modular storage and order picking system, which offers high scalability with low operational costs; AutoStore, a highly efficient robotic small parts picking and storage solution; and Swisslog’s SynQ management software that optimizes the flow of the equipment and provides warehouse automation and IT systems with synchronized intelligence of people, processes and machines to boost the efficiency and productivity.
