Make an impact

  • During Sales phase (early involvement): to align with the Sales project manager which materials have to be approached
  • Supply base: to define the suppliers to be requested together with peers
  • To establish the Project Roadmap: to list all materials related suppliers; ongoing updates in order to have transparency of quotes (budget vs. fix; pricing; technical status)
  • To address to suppliers for first quotes, pre-negotiations, final negotiations, SAP purchase orders
  • To propose the budget calculation (PCO) per material to the Sales project manager; ideally based on a fix quote
  • To negotiate with the suppliers in order to evaluate best price performance ratio
  • To apply the relevant purchasing conditions (project specific & using the Standard Terms & Conditions resp. the supplier agreements
  • To create the SAP Purchase Order (PO) based on the demand; ideally by a Purchase Request (PR) in SAP

Bring to the team

  • Engineering degree or commercial degree with good technical knowledge
  • Several years of experience in operative and strategic purchasing
  • Supply Chain Management experience in comparable industries and project oriented solutions:
  • Experience in manufacturing industries and proven technical understanding
  • Good knowledge of contract regulations and good negotiation skills
  • Fluent communication in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Good and proven knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • SAP R3 MM (Material Management) with focus on purchasing transactions
