We’re transforming performance and efficiency for customers across the globe, giving them the vital edge in their markets.   The Engineering Tools team is responsible for the digital tools used by our engineers in product development and product engineering. As a tool owner, your responsibility will be to drive the development and implementation of the Teamcenter PLM solution and continuously work on improvements to optimize the tool's technical performance. You will be the central point of contact and provide guidance and support for our global teams.

Responsibilities

Make an impact
  • Tool development and integration – Work closely with IT ensuring that our PLM system meet the needs of engineering processes and integrate with existing systems and workflows. Prioritize features and user stories based on business value. Work closely with IT and the Engineering teams to ensure successful implementation
  •  Develop training program and material –to help engineers effectively use the tools including conduct training sessions and workshops.
  •  Stay updated with the latest digital tools and technologies - Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance engineering processes and develop toolchain roadmap for our PLM system.
  •  Implement continuous improvement initiatives - to optimize tools performance. Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure product quality
  •  Maintenance and support - Provide ongoing support for teamcenter & help report and prioritize IT support issues.
  • Collaboration and coordination – with engineering and development teams, IT and software and cross-functional teams. Gather and document requirements from stakeholders and end-users.

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed
  • A relevant degree, such as in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
  • Experience in Agile development environment.
  • Good understanding of product engineering processes.
  • Relevant experience in product Management are a plus.
  • Relevant experience as a product owner or similar role are a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
