Responsibilities
- Make every reasonable effort to restore system operations within the shortest possible timeframe.
- Respond to customer concerns and complaints in a timely, professional, and appropriate manner.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer requirements and proactively translate those needs into effective actions.
- Provide technical support for installed systems during and outside normal office hours, as required.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and the back-office Level 2 support team based in Malaysia.
- Assist with system commissioning and deployment during the project implementation phase by providing onsite support.
- Accurately record and track incidents and issues in the CMMS system.
- Possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues independently before escalating to Level 2 support.
- Perform regular onsite system inspections and maintenance to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.
Application Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in Java.
- Able to work independently and perform well under pressure, including overtime and irregular hours when required to resolve on-site issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive individual with a strong customer-centric mindset and ability to work well in a team.
- Experience in automated material handling systems with PLC knowledge is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Possess solid troubleshooting skills and the capability to provide training when required.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Highly motivated, innovative, and a strong team player.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to safety compliance and regulations.
- Willing to work shift schedules according to the standby timetable.
