The Solution Architect will provide technical Sales support and produce customer project requirements for customer sign-off and subsequently work with other Software and Controls HUB teams to ensure those requirements are understood and met. The Solution Architect will carry out the duties described in this document while ensuring that they drive value, standardization, cost effectiveness and supportability of the HUB’s software and controls offering across Swisslog WDS Americas for all its customers by creating a world-class software and controls organization with value generating products and services.Short Facts

Responsibilities
Application Requirements
- Formal qualification in engineering and/or computer science
- Have working knowledge of the Warehouse and Distribution business sector
- Have at least five years experience in providing Software and/or Controls solutions
- Have working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Have working knowledge of Material Flow Control Systems
- Other software/controls product SME certification
- Have working knowledge of PLC controls and control logic
- Have experience in defining, procuring, installing and maintaining IT Hardware, Controls Hardware and their supporting infrastructure
