Responsibilities
- All-round maintenance engineer in a small team of 3 colleagues that is permanently based at the site of our customer near Lyon.
- The team is responsible for the maintenance of all logistics automation.
- You will work in a dynamic environment with a lot of variety in the daily tasks.
- Working an early, late and (sometimes) night shifts.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance such as Autostore, conveyors, labellers, carton machines, in accordance with quality standards.
- Solving malfunctions and user problems of a mechanical, electronics and automation related nature (PLC & IT) where the time factor is essential. While familiarity with PLC is desirable, we stress that programming skills are not necessary.
- Propose ideas for improving systems or processes.
- Organizing improvements or repairs.
- Setting up documentation, maintenance, inspections and management of technical systems or devices.
Application Requirements
- Relevant technical education and work experience
- Preferably knowledge in mechanics, electrical installations and automation systems.
- Self starter mentality and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team spirit and willingness to provide reports for handing down instructions
- Good customer service skills including being able to communicate at all levels
