Responsibilities

Make an impact

Here, you'll become a pivotal member of our customer service team, playing a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of Material Handling Systems (MHS) for our valued customers. You'll leverage your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues with precision, all while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented atmosphere within your team.   You'll proactively identify and address potential problems, maximising efficiency for our customers. With a keen eye for detail, you'll maintain meticulous records and adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. But your contributions won't stop there. We encourage continuous improvement, and you'll have the chance to contribute to innovative solutions that optimise service delivery and cost-effectiveness, while being inspired by the cutting-edge technology at the heart of our operations.   Your key responsibilities include:  
  • When onsite, coordinate and supervise all repair and maintenance work on the site/s
  • Maintain and update site records within the appropriate database as directed by your Manager
  • Business development for spare parts, retrofit, and upgrade opportunities, within the sites that are allocated to you
  • Focussing on excellent Customer Service
  • To ensure that customers' invoices are raised on time and all invoicing is accurate 

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed You will have at least three years of hands-on experience as a MHS Service Engineering Technician with trade qualification, along with a valid driver's license, and on-call flexibility. Your expertise lies in masterfully diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and you consistently wow customers with your exceptional service skills. You're a natural leader, motivating and guiding a team towards shared goals. Organisation and time management are your superpowers, keeping you on top of deadlines and priorities. Naturally, safety is paramount, and you adhere to all protocols meticulously. With your passion for technology and problem-solving, You're a self-starter and quick learner, eager to dive into new challenges. Finally, communication is key, and you excel at building rapport while explaining technical concepts with clarity.
