Derek Lang has served in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility for Swisslog and currently leads the Americas Customer Service business unit in Newport News, VA. Prior to that he served as Customer Service Sales Director and Director of Operations and Key Accounts.

Derek has more than 20 years of engineering, facilities management, operations management, and leadership experience across multiple industries including investment casting, fiber-optic manufacturing, high-tech, and automated material handling. He earned a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
