Brief description of job: Customer support representative for the spare parts department. Responsible for processing customer spare parts orders and other spare parts requests. Create and monitor spare parts orders for our customers and ensure quick and accurate delivery. Act as the primary customer interface for the Swisslog spare parts department.

This role is based out of our Newport News, VA office.

Responsibilities

  • Work within our Zendesk ticketing system to ensure all customer spare parts requests are process in a timely and accurate manner
  • Process sales order and purchase orders within our SAP system
  • Create and maintain material master, pricing and vendor records in our SAP System
  • Evaluate vendor performance, pricing, and lead times to facilitate orders
  • Research part numbers and discretions for Swisslog and non-Swisslog equipment
  • Track inventory and initiate restocking orders
  • Effectively communicate with customer to efficiently satisfy spare part requests
  • Prepare and present pricing and Leadtime offers for spare parts.
  • Helps with expediting vendors POs
  • Helps with processing Warranty claims and RMAs.

Application Requirements

Required Experience:
  • High School degree or higher education
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP
  • 1 years’ experience working in Customer Service
Desirable Experience:
  • SAP experience
  • Zendesk experience
  • Sales Force experience
