Responsibilities
- You will be leading the development of Blueprint contents including documentation, tools and trainings for your solutions, fostering standardization and aiming for a more efficient sales and realization phase
- Provide expert advice to other business units within Swisslog, leveraging your logistics and solution design expertise
- Collaborate closely with various Swisslog departments, including Solution Management, Simulation, System Engineering and Product Development, to co-develop components of solution blueprints
- Ensure knowledge transfer to regional teams through webinars and training sessions that you will conduct
- Participate in and contribute to Project Design Review meetings at various levels
Application Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Logistics, Business Engineering, System Engineering, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in logistics and fulfillment consulting, logistics operations management, operations consulting, business modeling or solution design
- Strong background in process engineering, concept development and visualization
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex information, making it relevant and actionable for key stakeholders
- Proficient in English
- Skilled in developing Excel models (ROI, Flow, Stock)
- Team player with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in intralogistics operations (e.g., retail distribution, online order fulfillment), automated material handling equipment and warehouse management software is essential
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%) to our Swisslog offices
