Make an impact

The key responsibility of this role is to organize and oversee the production of high quality fixed price proposals to strict deadlines in order to meet customer demands in line with Swisslog processes. The Proposal Manager prepares development schedules, identifies and liaises with the correct stakeholders to appoint the multi-disciplinary team. Responsible for quality / process adherence and coordinating the proposal documents preparation and the PCO.   Core functions:
  • Co-ordinate all relevant functions that are in the Sales process and be responsible for ensuring quality, accuracy, timing and precision of the Sales Proposal in line with relevant line managers.
  • Ensuring good preparation, scheduling and adherence to the Risk Review Process
  • Adherence to standards and ensuring quality and best practice with the use of proposal templates.
  • Review and ensure the right competence is assigned for the sales proposal team that will be allocated to the specific project and escalate to functions if gaps are identified
  • Oversee and update the CRM tool Salesforce related the Risk Reviews Process to ensure data entry accuracy and identify and address the risks with the relevant function
  • Work closely with the opportunity teams to translate the customer requirements and establish the proposal foundation
  • Challenge all involved functions in order to achieve a complete, high quality and competitive proposal for the customer.
  • Be responsible for the accuracy of the Proposal Price Cost Overview
  • Responsible for the accuracy of all documentation including, product, project, special requirements from the customer and terms and conditions of contract.
  • Establish a sales opportunity milestone plan, identifying key deadlines, liaising with all other stakeholders to respect the timelines.
  • Responsible for ensuring the opportunity team have followed the full risk management process ensuring that all risks are identified, analysed and mitigated.
  • Keep track of sales phase cost on projects.

Application Requirements

  • At least Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering & Project management or equivalent

  • Fluent English language both written and verbal
