The Solution Architect Manager will carry out the duties described in this document while ensuring that they and the team under their charge drive value, standardization, cost effectiveness and supportability of the SCIUs software and controls offering across Swisslog Americas for all it’s customers by creating a world-class software and controls organization with value generating products and services.

Make an impact
- Lead, build and manage a team of Software and Controls Solution Architects
- You and your Soution Architect team will be responsible for providing Sales Support, conducting requirements gathering workshops, producing Sales Proposals, producing Function Specification, producing Interface Definitions and keeping up to date with functionality supported by the latest version of the Swisslog software and controls product suite.
- Adopt role of WM6 Functionality Key User
- Ensure all Solution Architect activities are realized per defined processes, are delivered on schedule and within budget while maintaining customer-focus and high quality.
- Create, continuously improve and maintain a repository of Presentations, Software demonstration data sets, Sales support material, requirements gathering workshop material and interface definition material.
- Ensure all materials are consistently used by the Solution Architect team
- Be a member of Solutions Architecture management team
- Attend Design Reviews
- Attend Risk Reviews
Bring to the team
- Degree in engineering and/or computer science
- Have experience and a proven track record in leading Software and/or Controls teams successfully, achieving the goals set by the management
- Have working knowledge of the Warehouse and Distribution business sector
- Have at least five years experience in Solution Architecture and/or Business Analysis
Desired:
- PMP certification
- Scrum Master certification
- Other software/controls product SME certification
- Have working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Have working knowledge of Material Flow Control Systems
- Have working knowledge of PLC controls and control logic
- Have experience in defining, procuring, installing and maintaining IT Hardware, Controls Hardware and their supporting infrastructure
