Curriculum Developer

The Curriculum Developer is responsible for developing needed learning content to support the ongoing, long-term improvement of employees' skills, enabling them to fulfill their potential within the organization. He/she supports the Training Manager in the learning and professional development of Swisslog’s workforce by joining with team members/subject matter experts and identifying target audience’s training needs.

Make an impact

Core tasks

  • Quickly synthesize and write course content based on input from subject matter experts, written material, previous training courses, interviews, etc.

  • Create effective eLearning content when instructionally appropriate for subject and audience, or be involved in delivery of e-learning packages

  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods

  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments

  • Conduct and support instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts

  • Support the development of the training program throughout CGLA Americas that includes base training for our Industry and specific job task related training for groups within the company

  • Support development of a company training center that will display Swisslog key technologies and software

  • Participate in coordinating the delivery of training and development programs. Utilize project documentation and course folders

  • Assist in monitoring and review of trainee progress through questionnaires and discussions with managers as well as formal tests

  • Assist Training Manager in the guidance and support of line managers and trainers to solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups

Bring to the team


  • B.S. in Business, Human Resources Development or
    degree in instructional design, educational technology or equivalent job experience.
  • Computer literate in all MS Office products
  • Computer literate in all MS Office products, SAP experience a benefit
