Make an impact

Reporting to the Head of IT Projects of Swisslog, the successful candidate will become the key contact within IT for PLM initiatives based on Siemens Teamcenter App. This includes taking on and managing business requirements, managing the resulting IT Projects in collaboration with the rest of the IT organization. Main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage IT PLM projects needed to support Swisslog Digital Supply Chain roadmap based on Siemens Teamcenter, in close collaboration with SAP as the key ERP platform
  • Understand, support, challenge, and deliver on business requirements in supply chain, engineering and manufacturing areas
  • Manage project and activities as assigned by Head of IT Projects
  • Manage project teams within matrixed environment with both, dedicated full-time and part-time project team members, including internal and external resources and suppliers
  • Manage all relevant stakeholder, setting and managing expectations, coordinating, consulting and informing as appropriate with a proactive attitude
  • Ensuring delivery of required and approved project scope, managing change, escalations and issues as appropriate
  • Being responsible for project time, budget, scope and quality
  • Monitor and control project work and update project forecast and status reports
  • Act with integrity and leading project teams by example and coaching as appropriate
  • Work effectively remotely and in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Willing to travel overseas occasionally as required by assigned projects.

Bring to the team

  • Must have over (5) years’ experience with software project management
  • Experience of managing and operating in PLM environments, based on Siemens Teamcenter
  • Experience with ERP and SAP
  • Experience with any other IT Enterprise Applications (Salesforce,, etc.) is desirable
  • Project Management Professional certification or similar
  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field
