Make an impact
- As Integration Manager, you will work directly with Sales, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Project and Site Management, Software, Controls as well as Swisslog vendor teams, to ensure homogenization on system design, development, and implementation to deliver an on-time, highly efficient and high-quality project solution that meets all contractual requirements.
- You will be responsible for transferring logistics facilities consisting of different subsystems into an overall function. The core task is the coordination of the specification and integration of subsystems during the project realization, with automation components, material flow and warehouse software.
- You will provide input to the design & risk reviews in the sales process for projects and provide input to system requirements and attend system design reviews.
- Checking the readiness (technical and functional) of the different Sub Systems as well as the SW System (e.g., SynQ).
- Planning, coordinating, and controlling the whole integration process, including commissioning, ramp-up and go-live.
- Selection of potential sub-contractors for the project in cooperation with other company functions (engineering, control system, etc.)
- Manage the specification phase, including the process gate.
- Support the sales team to ensure the successful integration of the solution during the project realization.
- You will manage projects, potentially multiple in different project phases depending on complexity and contribute to technical aspects on the project.
Bring to the team
- A University Degree or Apprenticeship in Mechanical / Electrical / Controls / Software Engineering / Business Engineering or equivalent.
- Technical understanding of Controls and Software for automated storage systems (Cranes, Conveyors, AGVs, Shuttles, Robotics, WMS, etc.)
- Project management experience.
- Experience with the implementation of automated materials handling and logistics systems.
- Direct industry experience and domain knowledge in intralogistics.
- Happy to travel internationally.
- Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- A good business sense, with the ability to grasp opportunities.
- Pragmatic approach to finding solutions.
- Able to produce precise, accurate technical documentation.
