Head of Business Development EMEA (m/f/d)

In the context of market development, you will take care of the expansion of our sales activities in EMEA. With your team of local business development managers you will establish new customer contacts and represent Swisslog as a competent logistics solution provider. You will develop and strengthen relationships with potential customers. You will support to develop the sales strategy and take the lead in implementing it. We support you in achieving your sales goals with all the necessary tools, from a TOP equipped company car of a premium brand to the CRM tool Salesforce. You have a high level of customer orientation, sense and recognise their needs. Together with the involved departments, you will develop future customer relations.

Make an impact

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the EMEA region
  • Lead, manage and motivate a swisslog team of business development professionals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base
  • You build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the region
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities

Bring to the team

  • Business administration and/or technical degree level Bachelor/Master or comparable training, sales experience counts
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and/or sales of capital goods, preferably in the technology industry (industrial automation, automated material handling solution and / or complex technical sales projects)
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets within EMEA corporate structures
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • You own excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is self-evident
  • You are fluent in English, additional language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel from your Homeoffice within EMEA
