Make an impact
Leadership
To provide management oversight and demonstrate responsibility and ownership of the allocated customer sites
Manage the Resident Site Supervisors and Swisslog Resident Engineers.
Ensure that all work is carried out to a satisfactory level as per the Service Level Agreement for the customer.
Conduct performance management reviews with site teams
Coach and mentor the resident teams and be a positive role model
Ensure staff have the training, skills and knowledge to carry out their duties
Delegate appropriate responsibilities to the Resident Site Supervisors
Administration
Ensure effective management of site cover rota, holidays and sickness cover
To take responsibility for all installation and commissioning issues, site safety and site administration
Ensure all timesheets are completed correctly and submitted within stated timescales
To know and practice the Company’s policies and procedures
Health and Safety
Ensure that the Company’s and customers safety regulations are followed at all times, and report any anomalies immediately
To be responsible for the implementation of the health and safety policy and procedures on the resident sites
Prepare and participate in method statements, risk assessments, and client user and maintenance documentation.
Financial Management and Income Generation
Administer the budgets for the sites
Maintain financial records and reports as required
Track site performance against customer KPIs

To work as part of a team delivering team objectives, maintaining a positive attitude to work and colleagues and demonstrating a collaborative and willing approach
Lead the team by example
Communication
Working with the client to plan and implement all service schedules ensuring that all schedules are kept up to date and any changes are communicated to the relevant customer contact
Complete and submit relevant reporting material, attending customer meetings and representing Swisslog in a professional manner
Client engagement
Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers; providing a high quality of written and verbal communication
Commercial Knowledge
Contribute and participate in commercial discussions, providing input and feedback
Fully understand the commercial terms and conditions of the contract with the customer, including SLAs and Swisslog liabilities
Bring to the team
Utilise knowledge and experience for problem solving and fault finding on the Company’s products within technical limitations.
Provide technical support when required
Responsible for the control of all Swisslog spares on the sites and ensure that new parts are ordered when appropriate.
Know the Company’s product range past and present
Flexibility
Be willing to travel between resident sites as required
Be willing to cover shifts when required
Be willing to perform engineering duties as required
Results orientation
Ensure all customer Key performance Indicators are met
Ensure resident sites maintain excellent standards of workplace organisation and cleanliness
Develop and lead site-related quality and efficiency improvements
Education
High education in electrical / mechanical / automation engineering
Fluent practise of written and oral English language
Customer focus
Deal promptly with customers’ enquiries, complaints or problems and refer immediately to higher authority, anything that cannot be dealt with
Promote and sell Swisslog Customer Support Services
Training and Development
Show willingness to constantly improve own job knowledge, skills and personal development, taking responsibility for training and development
Responsible for producing comprehensive training and development plans for the Resident Site Supervisors and Resident Engineers
Continue to monitor and support training and development, ensuring time is allocated for course attendance
