Leadership of the Customer Service project realization department including department P&L accountability and oversight of all Customer Service project implementation activities. Represent Customer Service Project Realization on the Customer Service Senior Leadership Team and collaborate with that team and the leadership of other business units and regions to develop and implement Customer Service Americas strategic vision.

Core tasks
  • Provide proactive Leadership as a member of the CS Senior Management team, collaborate with other CS departments globally and other BU’s in Swisslog Americas in order to achieve the best possible result for Swisslog, our employees and our customers.
  • Lead the Customer Service Project Realization department
  • Achieve the agreed objective as defined by the VP Customer Service.
  • Accountable for the financial success and growth of the CS Project Realization profit center
  • Support CS Sales
  • Develop and maintain a high functioning team of project realization resources
  • Ensure all of the projects within the Business Unit are fully under control and all processes are performed and maintained in line with the Quality System.
  • Ensure active communication with customers, partners and employees. Seek feedback and use to improve customer satisfaction
  • Periodically communicate customer and project status to the rest of Swisslog Americas to ensure all may remain knowledgeable on customer growth, needs, and potential projects.
  • Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of past, current and developing technologies within the organization and develop plans to implement and support
  • Provide direct oversight to key projects or customers as directed by senior leadership. Maintain a thorough understanding of customer’s business, current and future. Promote modernization efforts among the installed base.

Bring to the team

Educational / Professional Qualifications:
B.A. /B.S. in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering Management field or equivalent job experience

5 years’ experience as a manager

2 years as part of a project team, service team or service product sales

Computer literate in all MS Office products, SAP experience a benefit

Necessary Experience:
3-5 years’ experience in Project Management, Service Sales or Service Management field

A high degree of organizational and time management skills and excellent verbal/written communications skills is required

Proven track record in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with the ability to be flexible and adapt well to change

Strong communication and presentation skills

Experience in Automated Material Handling Systems

Experience with Controls Systems

Products, applications, and experience in the warehouse or factory automation industry

P&L management experience

Understanding of standard accounting practices

Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Attention to detail

Must be highly articulate, proactive and self-motivated

Ability to multi-task and work independently
