Swisslog will not be participating in the LogiMAT on March 10–12, 2020
Buchs (Switzerland) / Dortmund, March 4, 2020 – Swisslog withdraws from the LogiMAT on March 10–12, 2020 due to the spread of coronavirus.
"Health is a priority", says Dr. Christian Baur, Swisslog CEO, "because we do not want to take the incalculable risk of our staff, customers or partners possibly becoming infected and we are also not permitted to do so, we have decided to withdraw from the LogiMAT. We are following the guidance of the Swiss Federal Council, which has banned events at which more than 1,000 people will gather. "We are very sorry that we have had to withdraw from the exhibition," emphasizes Baur: "The LogiMAT is an extremely important platform for us for making contact and holding presentations and will continue to be so in the future. However, the rapid spread of this novel coronavirus is cause for greater caution and appeals to our sense of responsibility."
