Swisslog, a world leader in warehouse automation and software solutions, will participate at the upcoming Logistics & Automation show alongside parent company KUKA. Taking place on October 15 - 16 in Hall 10 at IFEMA Madrid, this flagship event will showcase Swisslog’s latest innovations in intralogistics automation solutions, including mobile robotics systems and tri-temperature storage solutions.

At booth 10H10 in Hall 10 at IFEMA, Swisslog and KUKA experts will demonstrate how their solutions go beyond automation. "What we do is about forging meaningful partnerships with our customers, working side by side to ensure their success," says Antonio Peña, Managing Director of Swisslog Iberia.

State-of-the-art solutions serving businesses and people

Visitors to Logistics & Automation will have the opportunity to experience the power of the AutoStore Multi-Temperature Solution (MTS), first-hand. This unique innovation enables the storage of products at three different temperatures (ambient, refrigerated and frozen) within a single automated system. "By combining high storage density and thermal flexibility, this solution is part of a vision for the future of smart and sustainable warehouses," explains the CEO of Swisslog Iberia.

AutoStore MTS helps companies optimize logistics processes, reduce energy costs and respond quickly to changing demand. For this reason, sectors such as the food and pharmaceutical industries will benefit while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Swisslog will also present the new range of IntraMove autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), designed to optimize internal pallet transport in dynamic logistics environments. With a load capacity of 1500kg, an autonomy of 10 hours per charge, and advanced safety systems; this solution represents a breakthrough in flexibility and efficiency. Several models are available, with load capacities ranging from 600kg to 1500kg, and each comes fully integrated with Swisslog SynQ software.

The spotlight will also be on KUKA, which will present the new AI-capable iiQKA_OS2 operating system, ready for ISO 10218:2025 and the new machinery regulations. In addition, KUKA will showcase its AMR portfolio alongside its fleet management software, which leverages AI to navigate complex industrial environments. These AMRs are designed to handle dynamic obstacles, interact safely with people, and manage tasks such as door openings and elevator use. With load capacities of up to 3,000kg, they deliver agile, safe, and efficient internal logistics across a wide range of demanding applications.

The added value of PowerStore

On Wednesday, October 15 at 10 a.m., Antonio Peña will present the PowerStore solution during a Swisslog conference at the Global Lean Technology Forum. PowerStore is a compact shuttle system for high-density pallet storage, and the session will include a real-world customer case study.
