H-E-B Opens Another E-Commerce Fulfillment Center in Houston Featuring Swisslog Automation

H-E-B recently announced the opening of a new e-commerce fulfillment center in Houston to support curbside and home delivery orders throughout the city and the surrounding area.
The 100,000-square-foot, stand-alone facility marks H-E-B’s ninth fulfillment center the company has opened in Texas since 2018. It also marks another milestone in Swisslog’s ongoing efforts to help H-E-B achieve their automated fulfillment goals. The new facility features AutoStore empowered by Swisslog and operating on synchronized intelligence from Swisslog’s SynQ software.
H-E-B said the new facility builds on the retailer’s longstanding presence in the area and reinforces its commitment to serve more customers in this rapidly growing part of the state. The new location also further expands the retailer’s commitment to integrate innovative technologies that drive omnichannel growth and provide a more convenient and better shopping experience for Texans.
