Make an impact

  • Manage and motivate effective software support team in terms of required resources, experience level of resources and performance management.
  • Ability to deal with unexpected arising issues.
  • Allocate application, 3rd party and database related tasks as evenly as possible across the team.
  • Prepare business plans for the cost center including budgeting, forecasting, resource and training planning based on the yearly agreed goals for the Cost Centre as defined by the Managing Director and the Business Unit Manager – Customer Service.
  • Assure targeted revenues, expense and profit margins are reached.
  • Via consistent, high quality support, foster customer trust and build basis for supplemental and incremental service sales.
  • Maintain close network with other internal departments (e.g. Sales & Consulting, Project Realization) as well as partners.
  • Ensure that team is properly informed regarding ongoing customer issues being addressed.

Bring to the team

  • Strong experience within engineering and/or project management with emphasis on software and IT projects or support.
  • Demonstrated software support & helpdesk management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team, people management experience.
  • Degree qualification in engineering and or computer science and marketing.
  • Fluent (written, oral) in English language.
  • Effective communication, listening and targeted question posing skills. 
  • Experience with automated material handling software.
  • Exposure to the logistics industry.
