PickRunner

The PickRunner solution automates the putaway and replenishment function of single SKU pallets. This solution is found in both the retail and food & beverage industries.

The PickRunner‘s first module is based on efficient goods receiving, automated goods identification and transport including putaway into automated storage. Replenishment of products to pick locations along pick aisles is carried out automatically by stacker cranes which service multiple pick aisle floor levels. Conveyors, shuttle cars or monorail systems are located on the transport floor level linking all crane aisles. Empty pallets and trays are picked up by the stacker crane and transported automatically back to the receiving area.

The second module, the picking process, is a person-to-goods operation. Multiple load carriers can be used for order fulfillment. The warehouse management system determines the optimized pick routes
