The UniCar system is a flexible rail-mounted document transport system with a network of aluminum track with contact rails for power and control communications. Other elements of the system include curves, bends, straight rails and switches. Routes consist of horizontal, vertical and looping track. The combination of light weight and minimal space requirements enables the system to be installed in suspended ceilings, and in stairways in old and new buildings. UniCar can be modified for almost any transport task required in libraries. Swisslog’s Telelift MultiCar is a heavy-duty, high performance system that offers a space saving and flexible track design that promotes horizontal, vertical, overhead and bidirectional movement through a facility. |
The MultiLift system is comprised of fully automatic container lifts for vertical transport between floors and belt and/or roller conveyors for horizontal movement at any floor level.
Automated Transport with Unicar for Administrative Applications
The UniCar system provides large offices such as banks, legal offices, insurance companies and other organizations a means to automate the transport of internal documents, relieving staff of manual transport tasks. UniCar can transport material weighing up to 10 kg (22 lbs) horizontally and vertically over long distances band between floors. The system also assures security during transport.
Automatic loading/unloading with ADAL system
Swisslog offers an automated mail distribution system. This system relieves staff and improves efficiency automatic loading and reloading capability.
UniCar: Simple operation with touch-screen controls
UniCar is also available with touch-screen controls for simple operation. User names can be easily entered into the keypad enabling faster address selection. Shipment arrival notifications are made either by phone or by email.
