Swisslog sells non-hospital business in Germany
Buchs/Aarau,
1 October 2012 – Swisslog has signed an agreement to sell Telelift GmbH, its non-hospital
business based in Germany, to a group of industrial investors.
The divestment
has been announced earlier this year as part of the Score! program. It underscores the strategy of Swisslog’s
Healthcare Solutions division to focus on logistics solutions for hospitals. Telelift GmbH recorded
net sales in the range of MEUR 15 in 2011. The company provides track-based conveyor systems for in-house
light load transports.
